I would like to express my heart felt thanks to so many of you who responded to my last email, aiding me in this very difficult decision.
While many of you were willing to participate in a curbside dining program, I realized that most of our family of patrons commute quite a distance for the experience and occasion of dining at Razz's.
Further, whether you pick-up or we deliver, the delicacy of our cuisine does not translate that well to reheating.
The final factor for me was - what is best for our staff. We have been in business for 25 years with many of the same employees.
The restaurant has paid into the unemployment fund all these years and never had one employee avail themselve of that benefit.
A trickle of business does not really serve the staff or help Razz and I pay the bills. If closing allows our employees the opportunity to explore the possibility of unemployment relief or any assistance that is made available to those whose jobs have been negatively affected in an effort to control the spread of the Coronavirus-COVID-19
I would like them to have that opportunity
We fully intend to re-open when this pandemic has run it's course. Our hearts and appreciation are with each of you and we look forward to reconnecting when it is safe and healthy to do so.
As tears well in my eyes,I am sending love and light your way and I am looking forward to our reunion.
